After successfully completing this program, the student will be able to apply proper laboratory practice, perform hair shampooing, identify and perform scalp treatments, hair shaping and hair styling, identify and prepare wigs and hair pieces, identify and perform permanent waving/chemical hair restructuring (relaxing), hair color rinse, semi-permanent color, tinting and bleaching, identify and perform manicures and pedicures, application of artificial nails, facials, massages and make-up, demonstrate beauty salon management skills, employability skills, demonstrate knowledge of state board requirements and an understanding of entrepreneurship.  Typically, a student may expect to complete this program in 1200 hours.
